Lovely pink pillow

And I finished the pillow a couple of weeks ago.... It is surprising how a little item with the right colours can change the feel to a room. Everyone that has seen it at home has made a nice comment on it. It is nice to be able to make something that others can appreciate as well.

I made this with fabric from the swap with Carina. It is so cute!

I am now having problems with the sewing machine, and it is so frustrating!

Booooo

I seem to have an amazing ability to catch any sort of virus that goes around. I am now at home feeling sorry for myself wishing I could feel like a normal human. Poor me.....

I spent all day in bed yesterday, but I have managed to get up today, feeling better, but not quite there yet.

I have been sewing a little bit today, making something with one of the fabrics from my swap with Carina. I am framing the flowers and different designs of this fabric and it will probably end up being a cushion. The colours are lovely and this deserves to be on display.

 In theory I was going to use all the fabrics, buttons and rickrack that she send me for just one project, but they just seem to asked to be used in different ways...

My first swap!!

Look, look! This is my first swap with Carina!

I have been looking forward to it from the day we agreed we would do it, and I was so excited when I arrived home and found the parcel!

Lots of lovely fabrics. I am getting all inspired looking at them...I could do this...or I could do that....

The bits in the plastic bag I have to use for a project. I can add a couple of things from my lot, but I mainly have to use what Carina has chosen for me. I love what she has put into it. So bright and colourful!

And look! She has given me unexpected extra goodies!
